About MØNTE

Also known as Sophia Montalbano, is a singer/songwriter from Red Bank, NJ. She has been a part of the music scene since she was 15 years old, and has played all over the U.S including Asbury Park, NJ, New Haven, CT and Nashville, TN. She started gaining traction in 2017 with the release of her debut EP "EGO '' through MOTO Records (a student run record label in LakeHouse Music Academy) located in Asbury Park, NJ. She has continued to hone her songwriting and audio skills while attending the University of New Haven, where she graduated spring of 2022. While there, she released another EP "Utopia". She also spent a semester in Nashville, Tennessee studying audio at Blackbird studios and interning at Sound Stage Studios. After Graduation she released "Sucker" in 2022 and recently "Sam's Song" in 2024, which you can stream on all platforms now! She is working on a lot of new music and maybe a potential album (wink, wink). Currently she resides in Red Bank, NJ and has an active performance schedule.
